Paintable Edge Damage - Houdini Indie 20
Paintable edge damage network / HDA for stylized low poly scenes.
This is an example of a setup that lets artists be able to create polygon edge wear in specific spots with different intensities and meshing options. Parameters can be a bit un-wieldy to control if you don't understand what's going on behind the scenes but in general you can get a setup working for most assets.
Can run in realtime for simple assets like the ones in my scene, for more complex assets there is a non-realtime viewmode which may be easier to work in.
This also has a example of creating a custom stroke viewer state in python on the actual HDA asset which you may find interesting as well.
HIP files includes both the HDA and the demo scene!
